My story
My journey began in Poland and eventually led me to embrace New York City as my home. I was drawn to yoga from my teenage years, but it was during college that I truly immersed myself in the practice.
In my mid-twenties, I was studying and working two jobs, with no awareness of self-care. I had significant difficulties with breathing consciously and couldn’t inhale deeply, often finding myself breathless in stressful situations.
Signing up for a beginner yoga course was a life-changing decision. It not only transformed the quality of my life but also became my greatest passion and, ultimately, my profession.
Outside of yoga, I have a master’s degree in graphic design, a field that nurtures my creativity and informs both my practice and teaching. In my classes I do my best to blend mindful movement and artistic expression, fostering an environment where students can explore their practice with joy and curiosity. I'm also really into setting playlists and creating special soundtrack to enhance each session and elevate the experience for everyone. Flow with me to the sounds of David Bowie, Childish Gambino, Aretha Franklin and Mac DeMarco, to name just a few.
I promise the best scores!
that’s Charlie!
When I’m not guiding students on the mat, I love immersing myself in books, learning Spanish, and exploring the beauty of Brooklyn with my beloved girl, Charlie.
Through both—my personal and teacher’s experience—I hope to create the most welcoming space where students can experience the transformative power of yoga.
